Tampering with Auto Arrest Shady Side
On April 6, 2014 at approximately 2:54 a.m.,officers responded to the area of the 4900 block of Beech Street for a tampering with auto call.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim who was confronting the suspect, who was carrying a power saw. Officers then detained the suspect and learned he had been seen with a flash light inside two cars that belonged to the victim and a neighbor.
The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Western District for booking. Upon searching the suspect officers located two GPS devices in his coat sleeve, a flash light, a pill bottle with three pills in someone else’s name, a coke can fashioned into a smoking device and a burnt spoon.
Officers are currently attempting to identify the owners of the property.
The suspect has been charged with Possession of CDS, Possession of Paraphernalia, Tampering with Auto. Additional charges are pending.
Suspect: Brian Anthony Jackson, 36, of the 800 block of Shore Dr. Edgewater, MD

Commercial Robbery Glen Burnie
On April 5, 2014, at approximately 9:54 p.m., officers from the Northern District responded to the Dollar General located at 7463 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd., Glen Burnie, for a reported robbery.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 29 year old victim from Glen Burnie, who advised that an unknown suspect entered the office and displayed a silver revolver and demanded U.S. currency. After obtaining an undetermined amount of U.S. currency, the suspect fled the scene through the rear exit. The victim was not injured.
Officers along with the K9 unit searched the area with negative results.
Suspect: Black Male, mid 20’s, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and a red and black Chicago Blackhawks hat.

Commercial Armed Robbery Hanover
On April 5, 2014 at approximately 9:16 p.m., officers responded to the Red Roof Inn located at 7306 Parkway Drive S. Hanover, MD 21076 for a reported commercial armed robbery.
The clerk advised the suspect entered the office and inquired about a room. When quoted room rates the suspect said they were too high and displayed a dark colored revolver, pointed it at the clerk, and demanded money from the cash drawer.
The clerk complied, giving the suspect the cash from the drawer. The suspect then tried to get more money from another cash drawer. When he realized it was empty, he fled the scene on foot along Parkway Drive.
Patrol Officers, along with K-9 and Aviation canvassed the area with negative results. The victim was not injured.
Suspect: Black male, 30’s, thin build approximately 6-02, gray hooded shirt armed with a dark colored revolver.
