BURGLARY/THEFT OF COPPER ARRESTS                                                      HANOVER

On February 26, 2014, at approximately 11:04 p.m., officers from the Western District responded to the 7200 block of Park Circle Drive in Hanover for a theft of copper.

Upon arrival, officers observed a tow truck pulling an older model Ford pick-up truck from a wooded area behind this business. Further investigation revealed that three suspects drove behind the business into a dark, secluded wooded area. From there, the suspects cut their way into a fenced storage area, removed copper cables from generators and attempted to drive from the scene, but their vehicle became stuck in the mud.
