Hitting the road is something local band Pasadena is all to familiar with.   Last year Pasadena played at least 299 shows and spent several months out supporting their new album “Nowhere Fast”.  Late summer of 2012 they did an across the country tour that took them all the way to Seattle and then down the west coast before working their way back east.  This time they are headed to Florida with several stops along the way starting in Raleigh N.C. this evening.

Starting by playing acoustic gigs locally back in 2000,  Joey Harkum, Corey Street, Aaron Hooper, Will Finley and the recently added Sara Kryscio as backing vocals they  been building a loyal local audience that has gotten the band to the point where their yearly music festival “DenaFest”  has become a local tradition.  This last year thousands of dollars were raised to start a music scholarship that they intend to distribute to local high school students on their way to college to study music.
