Indecent Exposure: ARREST

On February 19, 2014, pictures of the suspect captured by surveillance video were distributed to the media and displayed on social media. Within hours, a tipster who saw the images on Facebook called in a tip identifying a possible suspect.
Investigators were able to positively identify the suspect and link him to the cases. Additional evidence was also recovered. The initial thought was that there could be two suspects, but investigators were able to confirm that this suspect was responsible for all of the indecent exposure incidents.

On February 20, 2014 detectives located the suspect at his residence and he was arrested without incident.

This investigation remains active and anyone with additional information or any additional victims are urged to contact Northern District Detectives at 410-222-6018.

The suspect has been charged with 4th degree sex offense, indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.

Suspect: Robert James Hess, 39, of the 1500 block of Ingalls Rd. Glen Burnie, MD.
