THEFT ARREST GLEN BURNIE
On March 25, 2014, at approximately 10:44 a.m., officers from the Northern District responded to Marley Elementary School located in the 700 block of Cooper Road for a report of a theft that just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with school administrators, who indicated that the school was conducting an assembly for the students that allows for parents or guardians to attend and assist school staff with chaperoning the students. It was relayed to officers that the grandmother of one of the students was caught stealing a teacher’s wallet during the assembly. School staff prevented the suspect from leaving school property until officers arrived. After speaking with a member of the school staff, it was discovered that the suspect entered an unoccupied classroom. The suspect was then confronted by the victim, an alert member of school staff, who questioned her about being in the classroom. The suspect eventually exited the room and re-entered turned the cafeteria.
The victim became suspicious and quickly realized her wallet was missing from the classroom. The victim then noticed the suspect holding her wallet in the cafeteria area and rummaging through it. The suspect was also
observed removing something from the wallet and discarding the wallet into a trash can. The wallet was retrieved and
money was missing from it. Arriving officers placed the suspect into custody and transported her to Northern District. The suspect was advised that she is no longer allowed on the school’s property and will be charged with trespassing if she returns. The suspect was ultimately charged with Theft Under $100 and Disturbing School Activities

FIRST DEGREE ASSAULT ARREST LOTHIAN
On March 26, 2014, at approximately 3:19 a.m., officers from the Southern District responded to the 1100 block of Mt. Zion Marlboro Road in Lothian for a report of a stalking complaint.
Upon arrival, officers learned that the neighbor of the potential stalking victim ran after the 35-year-old male stalker with a large galvanized pipe after the suspect was banging on his exterior windows. The neighbor, Ronnie Hall, confronted the suspect in a nearby yard and struck him in the head with the pipe. The possible suspect in the
alleged stalking sustained severe head trauma as a result of the strike to the head and was transported to Prince
George’s Hospital Center via helicopter. Ronnie Hall was charged with Attempted Murder, First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault and Reckless Endangerment. The investigation is continuing to determine if the victim of the assault was potentially stalking a victim in the area.
