Fitness Consultant- Gold’s Gym

Job Responsibilities

As a Team Lead – Sr. Security Engineer you will report to the VP, Client Solutions and be responsible for technical Pre-Sales Consulting, leading a team of highly talented security engineers, setting up technology vision for the security practice and building relationships with our partners and customers.

Your specific duties as a Team Lead – Sr. Security Engineer will include:

  • Providing thought leadership and innovation to develop the strategy, vision and intellectual assets to meet the objective of the consulting practice.
  • Fostering long-term relationships with customers and partners.
  • Managing and leading large customer opportunities, solution design and proposal activities.
  • Responsible for developing Go to Market strategy and unique value proposition for Security products and services portfolio
  • Providing Sales pursuit leadership.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities by driving a team of inside sales and lead generation team
  • Pursuing and participating in teaming opportunities in both public sector and commercial organizations
  • Supporting marketing initiatives and demand generation activities to drive growth.

Job Requirements

As a Team Lead – Sr. Security Engineer, you will provide strategic and operating direction for the IT security practice. Your excellent communication and presentation skills combined with a technically sound understanding of Cisco, Tenable and McAfee security products will enable the security practice to build upon and exceed customer and company goals.

Specific required qualifications for the Team Lead – Sr. Security Engineer position include:

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance.
  • Minimum 10 years IT experience. Effective team/relationship building experience required.
  • Significant industry experience in the roles of delivery management and leading business growth & ability to execute on a strategy
  • Previous consulting experience preferred
  • Experience in Federal presales efforts and contract vehicles know how a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to develop and sustain long term relationships
  • Previous sales experience in technology sales, especially in IT Services, selling to and working with C-level management a plus.
  • Must be technically sound in Cisco, Tenable, McAfee security products and overall trends in security. Previous experience with IT Security such as Proxy, Firewalls, and Anti-Virus etc; as well as experience in data loss prevention. Knowledge and experience with Intrusion-Detection Systems (IDS) and/or Intrusion-Protection Systems (IPS) preferred.
  • Cisco certifications such as CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP Security, and industry certifications CISSSP preferred.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic and operating direction for IT security including Desktops, Networks and Applications as well as disaster recovery and business continuity functions. Can identify and articulate risk analysis and mitigating strategies and options aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong Verbal, written and presentation skills regarding highly technical topics.
  • Must be ready for travel as required. Typical travel is 25%
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Work location for Security Practice can be Herndon VA or Crofton, MD, however may be required to travel to Crofton, MD for business reasons such as relationship building, management meetings, team events etc.

    - ISR (1900, 2900, 3900), ASR (1000 series) routers
    - CleanAir AP (3500, 3600), WLC (4400, 5500), MSE (Location, W/IPS)
    - Security (ASA5500, IPS, ACS)
  • Must have extensive deployment experience in Cisco Technologies including Enterprise Routing and Switching, Network Security and Wireless.
  • Experience in other technologies areas such as Unified Communications and Datacenter technologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of solution delivery best practices is required.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to adapt to various business needs
  • Must be capable of working well both independently or as part of a team.
  • Top Secret Clearance is a plus.
  • US Federal government experience is a plus
  • Cisco and or Cisco partner experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed up to 50% of the time.

  • Minimum 2 years direct applicable experience working with Cisco Route and Switch. Wireless is preferred. Must be able to demonstrate hands on experience

  • Strong knowledge of overall Cisco Borderless Networks Skills and industry trends
  • CCNA is a must. CCDA, CCNP, CWNA OR CCDP is preferred
  • Understanding of network related products and solutions such as Cisco ISR routers, switches (3750, 4500, 6500 series), Wireless Access Points, Clean Air, Wireless controller, WCS,ASA5500, ACS (AAA)
  • Experience and desire to gain knowledge, training and certification on Cisco products
