ROBBERY (CITIZEN)                                                                                       GLEN BURNIE

 

On December 30, 2013, at approximately 6:10 a.m., officers from the Eastern District responded to the 8200 block of Great Bend Road in Glen Burnie for a reported robbery of a citizen.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 89-year-old male victim, who stated that he was  walking back to his home from the McDonalds located in the 600 block of Old Mill Road in Millersville when he was struck in the head by unknown suspect(s), knocking him to the ground in the area of Cloverleaf and Four Leaf Clover Drive. The victim was then robbed of his wallet and an unknown amount of U.S. currency. The victim was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Initial information indicates the suspects are three black males in their teens, wearing dark, hooded sweatshirts and dark pants. NORTHERN DISTRICT

 

INFORMATION SOUGHT IN DOG BITE INCIDENT                                 GLEN BURNIE

 

On December 29, 2013, at approximately 9:05 p.m., officers from the Northern District responded to the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue S.W. in Glen Burnie for a report of a dog bite.

 

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 66-year-old female victim, who stated that she was outside walking her dog when two stray Pit bull dogs approached and attacked her dog. While trying to break the dogs apart, the victim sustained a serious bite injury. The victim was able to make it to a nearby residence and received assistance from a citizen. Both of the attacking dogs fled and were seen entering a vehicle at the end of the street after being called over by an unknown person. The vehicle then left the area. There was no available description of the vehicle or the owner of the dogs. The victim was subsequently transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
