Second Alarm House Fire Riva MD.

On Tuesday March 13th 2012 at 10:16 p.m., Anne Arundel County Fire Department received a call about a house fire in the 400 Blk. Porpoise Lane in Riva Md.  The first unit on location was Chief 2 of the Woodland Beach Vol. Fire Department.  Upon arrival Chief 2 immediately called for a 2nd alarm with fire showing, and exposure to the neighboring home, the home that the fire started in was 30% involved with fire.  The home suffered extensive fire, smoke and water damage. The exposure dwelling suffered fire, smoke and water damage to the side next to the primary house fire. The fire is under investigation by the AACO Fire Marshall’s office. We will update any information as it is released.

    Have they figured out yet what exactly caused the fire??
